What happens when you try to outrun the cops? Whether by foot or by car, justice seems to always catch up. Both Victor and Rix share some recent stories about a couple of delinquents who tried to outsmart the law in a scene out of Grand Theft Auto. The total anarchy that follows is a story to behold. Then, what happens when you see people from work or other situations in a new environment? Victor has some good feedback on that. But that feeds into the fact that he's a bit tired from skating 12 HOURS straight at his local park in LA. Finally, we round out with post-pandemic chaos. You know the drill. Ep. 206 - New Journeys, New Surroundings... New Jersey?

Victor and Rix are back! And why the long wait? Rix has moved from his nest in Chicago out to New Jersey for some wedding ministry and has some stories to share about that transition. From a relatively quiet setting, Rix is thrown into a nonstop world of excitement, and Victor has some changes of his own to share. Ep. 205 - Rules & Regulations

It's another day in paradise until someone walks up and kills your vibe with a list of park rules that must be strictly followed.  That's exactly what Victor experienced during his most recent trip to Venice Beach. Nothing a little brushing of the shoulder can't handle.  Also, Rix is finally moving to the East Coast! What better way to begin a new chapter in life than to reflect on the people in his life who've brought him to where he is today.

Ep. 203 - Whining, Wimpering & Wailing: A Recipe for Rib-Tickling Entertainment

Neighbors.  We all have our unique experiences that make us grateful, or regretful, for living in such close proximity to others. Today, Victor describes his angry neighbor, who constantly screams his head off at all hours of the day, and also promises a small gift at the end of the episode for all of the listeners.  He then gives us an update in regards to the woman in his courtyard who has a few idiosyncrasies of her own.  Rix presents some sage advice and later speaks on the navigation of new relationships and how to properly set up boundaries.

Summer's upon us! And now that America is opening up again, we're getting back together, and Rix has a story from a cousin's graduation party. What do you bring as an older cousin? Victor has been raving about this for a long time, and now Rix had his first taste. His verdict? You'll have to listen to find out. And then, Victor's got a courtyard experience to share.

Ep. 201 - Debacle at the DMV

Need a few laughs with a story where everyone can relate?  Welcome to the DMV.  Rix tells us his most recent trip and a few of the surprises he witnessed while waiting in line.  Ever walk into a building and instantly feel transported to the past.  That's exactly how Victor felt walking into the Moonlight roller rink where he shares his experience roller skating indoors for the first time.  And of course, there are a few nuggets scattered throughout but we won't bother telling you about them.  You'll just have to listen and find out.  And as usual, we hope you... enjoy!

Ep. 200 - Milestones and Memories

We've made it to TWO HUNDRED EPISODES! On Ep. 200 of Stream of Thought, Victor and Rix take some time to reminisce on the past 4 years of this podcast. The failures, the successes, and the fun times had all the way. Plus, what are the top 3 episodes and why? It's certainly an entertain walk down memory lane. Then, since a Stream of Thought episode wouldn't be complete with a little banter, Victor talks about his love of the roller blading community and the first party he's attended in over a year. And to wrap it up, Rix shares an experience from his chaplaincy group, which asks the question... why aren't you angry?

Ep. 199 - One Size Does NOT Fit All

Welcome back as we inch closer and closer to an exciting 200 episodes!  Today Victor and Rix dive deep into a subject that seems to always bring controversy whenever it is brought up.  However, prior to the main course, the two are sure to whet your appetite with a few kicks and giggles regarding 1) Victor's effort in self-regulation and 2) the constant barrage of "National Holidays" all over social media.

Ep. 196 - What Makes you RAGE???

Do you ever have those moments of frustration... maybe anger... or could it be RAGE? Well, Rix break it down starting with the recent construction of a new sidewalk that has shut down access to his parents' driveway right when they're getting ready to move massive amounts of furniture in the coming days. Victor shares a similar frustrating experience trying to move a massive amount of groceries from his car versus risking a ticket by parking in front of his apartment for a few minutes. And finally, Rix has an experience where the supervisor in his chaplaincy group can't seem to understand why he isn't more angry. All this and more on episode 196 of Stream of Thought. Ep. 191 - Sacred Space, Intruder Alert!

One cannot help but laugh when it comes to the misfortune of others, particularly when that misfortune was brought by good intentions.  Talk about an all-time backfire.  The details of how this came about and the consequence will be sure to get the giggles going.  On a more positive note, Rix and Victor take a trip down Memory Lane as the two discuss old-school television programs that brought smiles to their faces.  There are, of course, a few more topics, but it's more fun if you just give it a listen instead of reading the preview ; )
