NEVER mix a Coke with a Johnnie Walker! And then, Victor has more fun work stories about incompetent employees that take for granted the position they're holding. Finally, Rix talks a bit about a run where he encounters a little critter who follows him for a few blocks, as well as his first guest appearance on another podcast. What better way to begin the conversation than with a quick Venting Victor! Find out what happened at the car wash that got him a bit riled up. But what's the latest news regarding the Thorsell Nature Conservatory?? Well, the title, The Birds & the Bees is a start. Hint: it has to do with the 500lb fountain Rix installed a while back. And since the two have critters on their minds, why not continue in that direction as Rix and Victor discuss the various animals they've come across in their time growing up in DuPage County. But wait, there's more! According to Victor, Winter is right around the corner. What suggestion does he make that would make Rix's life a little easier come snowfall? You'll just have to hit 'play' to find out! So with that being said, we hope you... enjoy!

Sunday Jun 28, 2020
Sunday Jun 28, 2020

Then, Rix shares the unexpected infestation of cicadas that are taking over the Midwest a few years early! And while Victor is missing this unique opportunity to listen to incessant buzzing round the clock, he has some updates on his Instagram encounters, which we round out with a little fun with Rix's church and the chaos in the upper-echelons of leadership.

Ep. 140 - Killing with Kindness
Thursday Jun 18, 2020
Thursday Jun 18, 2020
We've got another episode of crazy times in a crazy world, where Victor starts off with his Amazon purchase fail, which only feeds into the raw reactions he has to deal with working at a grocery story where people will literally get into wrestling matches over disagreements. It's an experience of total anarchy that may involve several women trying to pull each others' hair out in a business establishment (and it's not even Black Friday!). Then we discuss the opposite of that as Rix shares his thoughts on calming down situations that can get heated. And finally Victor takes some time to question Rix about some Biblical passages that just don't seam to make sense... to which Rix answers with varying degrees of success. It's a wild episode that spans the gamut, so with that, Episode #140 of Stream of Thought, we hope you... enjoy!

The two find common ground and exchange a few retail experiences with individuals that prove to be anything but rational, and then wrap things up with overall leadership experiences and the individuals they respect and a few others they, eh... don't.
With that being said we present to you Episode #139 of Stream of Thought. And as usual, we hope you... enjoy!

Today's episode of Stream of Thought involves a volcano of frustration in the most enjoyable way!
